Words cannot describe how absolutely breathtaking Elyse & Zach’s Wedding Day was! We had such an amazing time being a part of this special wedding. The weather could not have been more perfect and every detail fell into place beautifully. Elyse & Zach met while attending USC and 8 years later, here we were!  Elyse & Zach are the perfect reflection of each other and their day was exactly that as well. We could not have asked for a more awesome and easy-going couple to work with and we felt so fortunate to help make their day turn out exactly how they had imagined. After a stunning seaside ceremony, guests made their way to cocktail hour, followed by a surprise Grand Entrance by non-other than the USC Marching Band! As if that did not make the ballroom electric enough, after dinner Flashback Heart Attack turned up the heat with some killer 80′s music! Truly a phenomenal night! Huge thank you to the Bacara staff as well as Braedon Flynn for capturing the day with exceptional beauty.

Ashley & Matt tied the knot at the oh-so-wonderful Serra Plaza on May 18th! We had the pleasure of doing all of their floral design and floral details. Ashley is an interior designer and so it was only inevitable that her wedding would be full of style and reflect her simple elegance! She put together an outdoor wedding that was completely immersed in her Anthropology-inspiration, with crisp white flowers, fresh french lavender, and gorgeous grey linens. Empire chandeliers hung above the aisle, white hydrangeas lined the top tier fountain and the In’N'Out truck made for a great late night snack! We were so happy to be a part of their amazing day! We couldn’t get over her stunning white peony bouquet that we made, wrapped in beautiful ivory lace, LOVE! It looked perfect on her! Big thank you to Mary at Serra Plaza for always being a pleasure to work with and to JL Photographers for sharing these images!

We have had the pleasure over the past few years of getting to know and work with one of our lovely vendor friends Lindsey from Brooke Photography & Design. So naturally, when the time came for her to tie the knot, we were so hoping she would choose us to contribute to her vision. And Viola! To our utter excitement, she did! Lindsey asked us to provide all the florals for her vintage wedding!
Lindsey is a quintessential beauty! She reminds us of a real life Disney’s Snow White! Absolutely beautiful. She and Sean share a love of vintage decor and a throw back to old world regality and decorum. Their wedding was so charming and FULL of so many personal and handmade details. We were honored to be a part! Thanks to DNA Wylie Photography for capturing all their stunning moments!

Well we had an extremely successful start to this year’s wedding season with Kristin & Chad’s beautiful wedding at Dove Canyon Country Club two weeks ago. Kristin & Chad were a gorgeous couple! AND SO CUTE!!! It was a privilege to be a part of their wedding. We just received a little taste of their day from Brightwood Photography! Thank you to our great vendors! And especially Becky and her staff at Dove, who were a dream team!

Every year, us girls over here at Sugar Branch Events get extremely giddy about the release of the Pantone color of the year! We anxiously await to see what chosen color is going to dictate the wedding and fashion industry trends for the year ahead AND because it means we get to create a styled shoot based on the inspiration of that color! (It’s our little tradition) 2013′s Pantone color of the year did not disappoint. Emerald was such a fun and different color to incorporate into a wedding color palette. We kept it mild, adding pops of emerald here and there, while blending it with lush golds, blushes, ivory’s and a hint of tangerine to keep it on the classy and sophisticated side. And glitter. We love glitter! We don’t know about you, but we are ready for wedding inspiration that’s lush, classic, clean and modern that has a few fun twists on current trends.

While we started with an over-all vision and built lots of inspiration boards, we let each vendor ultimately dream-up something that inspires them, that is completely unique to their creative genius. Check out our Pinterest Board for the shoot! We had an absolutely fabulous team of vendors, who we cannot thank enough for being so involved and giving of their time and talents! We LOVED working with all of you! (Vendor info at the bottom of the post)

We created a “Champagne & Macarons” setup for cocktail hour. Our sign read, “Bubbly & Sweet, how about a treat?” What a great but effective way to spice up cocktail hour and give your guests an unexpected delight! (And get them hooked on French Macarons!)

We wanted our shoot to showcase the special moments between a bride and her maid of honor. We wanted our maid of honor to present our bride with a sentimental gift to show honor her on her wedding day.

And instead of doing a dessert bar, we thought a fun change would be a latte station where guests could enjoy a cup of coffee their way as well as some yummy coffee desserts. The smell of the coffee beans infused the room with warmth and comfort and smelled amazing!
